4.5ft Power Cable with Duelund Conductors and Supra Connectors

Power cable, 4.5 feet in length. Assembled in USA. During testing, this cable impressed me with improvements in imaging and soundstage as well as a notably crisp attack on bass notes.

About the Conductors:

Live and neutral conductors: Duelund Coherent Audio DCA12GA600V tin-plated copper. These wires are a modern update to the sought-after Western Electric tin-plated wire.

Ground conductor: Southwire 41104 12 gauge un-plated copper stranded wire. Nothing fancy, nor does it have to be.  

About the Connectors:

Both the wall plug and IEC connector are Supra LoRad connectors. These feature gold-plated copper contacts and are specially constructed to eliminate background noise. These connectors are particularly good at cleaning up grit from the middle and upper ranges.

About the Construction:

I put a tight twist on the live and neutral conductors, pad them in a cotton sleeve, and wrap the assembly in a PVC tube. I then wind the ground wire counter to the core twist direction and wrap the whole thing in a double layer of Techflex PET sleeving. All internal connections are treated with DeOxIt G5N Gold contact enhancer. See the pictures for a look into the process.
