The KAV-250a features a switch that can change from two channel stereo to single channel mono block. This is a set of two that are set to Mono mode whereby, It delivers 1000 watts of Krell power to each channel @ 8ohms and doubles into 4ohms.. With the flip of a switch on the rear panel it can be configured into 5 channels 250wpc @ 8ohms and 500wpc @ 4ohms..
