Up for sale is a Channel D Seta L with the optional RIAA Correction Module (RCM). This phono preamp is Stereophile Class A rated. Stereophile's Technical Editor John Atkinson bought the review sample after completing lab and listening evaluations.
The Seta L is designed specifically for low output cartridges. Gain is selectable in 4 steps from 55 to 65 dB through the RCM outputs. Cartridge loading is selectable in 6 steps from 10 to 500 ohms or you can customize loading using your own precision resistors and capacitors.
The unit is battery powered with automatic built in charging of the AGM batteries when the unit is not in use.
The Seta L with the RCM provides both RIAA-compensated outputs and uncompensated outputs. The former is sent to a preamp for normal listening. The uncompensated outputs are intended for use with Channel D's Pure Vinyl software. This option provides RIAA compensation in the digital realm as well as providing the ability to record LP's as high resolution digital files.
This unit is in excellent condition and comes with all original accessories and packaging. PayPal please add 3%.
