For sale is a rare vintage McIntosh MC 2200 Solid-State Power Amplifier. The unit has been well taken care of and recently professionally serviced. All controls were cleaned and lubricated. All front panel lamps were replaced. Tested all functions and in good operating condition. Few minor blemishes on the outside, but overall, in good condition for a vintage McIntosh (MC-2200 sold from 1976-1982).
The unit powers up and sounds great for an early solid-state unit. The owner has had these (and similar C26 solid-state preamplifier for sale) units for 35 years. Looking to go to a good home that can enjoy this rare vintage McIntosh. This unit has never been abused and has always been well taken care of.
