My CLSIIz which I bought second hand in 2006 and had new panels fitted in 2013. When purchased the wood was already stained in some areas but I always maintained them as best as I could since, always in a non-smoking environment. One of the panels recently developed a "ticking" sound which probably means that the panel needs to be replaced (they need to be replaced every 10 years anyway). Sale due to purchase of new speakers. Would strongly advise to purchase with the associated Martin Logan subwoofer that I sell as well. The price effectively reflects the fact that new panels need to be purchased.
