YG Acoustics Carmel 2

For sale a beautiful pair of YG Acoustics Carmel 2's.   I had originally purchased a set of lightly used Carmel 1's used from Alma Audio in San Diego on 04/13/2018.  Then was able to trade them in and upgrade to the Carmel 2's on 09/10/2020.   I paid $7,000 for the C1's, then paid another $10,000 + trade i = $17,000 paid less than two years ago.  From the huge soundstage, to the fit and finish, and from an aesthetic point of view, the small footprint that doesn't overwhelm a smaller room like mine even though they are capable of filling much larger spaces.  I understand it's all subjective, but there is a reason YG Acoustics competes with Wilson Audio and Magico at the top.  Per Dick Diamond of YG Acoustics , these speakers (serial number 0200) were made 01/2015.     

On a side note, the original listing was on May 28th and set to expire today, June 28th.   I took the listing down as sold last week as I had a deal in place and had already been sent the funds, I was only waiting on him arranging Freight.  He had to back out last minute due to a family/house repair emergency yesterday.  He has excellent feedback and was great to deal with.  He was very apologetic and I understand life happens, very quality guy.  Just unfortunate for both as he really wanted the speakers, and now I would potentially have to re-list them for another 30 days.  60 days to sell these speakers just doesn't appeal to me.  So I have decided to sell them at auction, priced to move quickly.  If anyone finds a pair of lightly used Carmel 2's for this price point please let me know.   So I am motivated for a quick sale but not desperate.  

I also had edited the original listing on June 2nd due to a scratch found on the left side speaker while putting the speakers back in their original crates to get ready to be sold/shipped to their next lucky owner.  The scratch is about 1/2 to 1 inch long and is on the right side of the speaker near where it meets the front below the mid woofer.   It isn't noticeable when you are listening/looking at the speakers in a normal setup so I had never noticed./seen it before.  I don't know when/how it got there.  The fit/finish on these all metal speakers are so beautiful so naturally my heart sank when I saw it.  So I reduced the condition from a 9 to an 8, added photos showing the scratch, and had originally lowered the price by $1,000.00.
