Townsend Audio Seismic Isolation Podiums

Selling a pair of highly acclaimed and effective Townshend Seismic Isolation Podiums. These are Size 3 and fitted with Type “C” load cells that can accommodate speakers from 46-120 lbs. Four other cell types & sizes are available thru Townshend to accommodate even the heaviest speakers.

I bought this pair from a local Agon member and have used them to great effect with my 82 pound Kii Three standmount speakers. Using the iPhone Seismometer app, these podiums virtually eliminated cabinet vibration on a wood floor. When dialed in properly, your speakers will be completely decoupled from the floor. Great if you’re concerned with a downstairs neighbor.

As shown in the photo, one of the podiums has a manufacturing defect in the form of a blob of resin. This is purely cosmetic, and does not affect performance. This podium is also missing a single load cell screw. I did not find this to be a problem. Townshend Audio is very responsive, and will happily send you a replacement screw if you desire. They provided me with the spanner wrench seen in the plastic bag because it was missing when I bought the used podiums.

I have the original boxes, literature and spanner wrench for adjusting the load cells.These are heavy and their boxes are not suitable for shipping without an outer box, making shipping somewhat expensive, therefore I’d prefer local pickup in the Portland Oregon area.

I’ll be moving to Europe so am selling my entire system, otherwise these would be keepers.
