The fi X 2A3 is a wonderful SET amp, with a mighty 2 watts per channel, and a fine sound. And it looks like nothing else.
I bought this from Mr. Garber in the 1990s and it hasn't left my house since. It can get surprisingly loud with efficient speakers, and it has a notably agreeable midrange.
This is the base version, no fancy transformers, and no chokes, but those could be ordered as an option. When I bought this, I wanted to experience the sort of ultra-basic concept that was the design goal here. And I have always enjoyed it!

It's just an amp, not integrated. I suggest you find some articles about this model, which you can still find on the internet. It's an odd, low power amp, very basic. That's why I wanted it, but it's not exactly a "normal" amp. |
