Trinnov Audio Amethyst

Selling my Trinnov Amethyst as I am downsizing my system.  Unit is in mint condition and it was purchased new from an authorized dealer.  This is one of the best components I’ve had in my system.  Fantastic solid state preamp with Roon Ready Server and DAC.  The Amethyst has one of the most advanced room correction sections that does room EQ as well as time and phase alignment.  The four capsule microphone allows the Amerhyst to take the measurements necessary to be able to do this.  Price includes Trinnov four capsule microphone, shock mount and cable.  All packaging materials and remote included.

This is a great preamp even without using Trinnov's Optimizer, but when using the Optimizer it takes the preamp to the next level by compensating for a lot of your listening room's problems, such as booming bass. The Optimizer can be switched on or off and the improvement in sound when on is profound and, unlike some other room correction implementation, it doesn't sound artificial or digital. The Optimizer is easy to use and runs automatically, and you can tweak the results to your heart's (and ear's) content!
