Truly amazing sounding amplifiers. Used with the BAT Rex II preamp to power a pair of magnificent Analysis Audio planar speakers that just sold.
Upgraded with Synergistic Research Red fuses. Each unit has a total of six fuses, four internal, two external . At $89 a pop that's over $1,000 for an upgrade that does make for a noticeable improvement.
These amps were from the first batch of production of the new 655 series and for whatever reason BAT used the rear panel of the discontinued VK 600. You will find this bizarre story mentioned in the earlier reviews of the 655 series.
Original owner, mint conditions, no scratches no dents no discolorations.
