Up for sale, a beautiful Primare BD32 MkI high quality Universal Disc Player in black.  A universal player with the best audio quality, and excellent video performance.  Player is in excellent cosmetic condition with no scratches or marks.

This player has an excellent analogue output, XLR or RCA.  The analogue output works for about 25 minutes and cuts out.  Digital outputs, HDMI, AES/EBU, Coax or Toslink are unaffected and continue to work so you can connect to your favorite DAC.  The player has been serviced by Primare authorized service, and the analogue out situation remains.  All other functions tested perfectly.

From review - With all that technology on the inside, the first thing you will actually notice about the BD32 is its good looks.  It looks and feels superb, the buttons clunk satisfyingly, and the fascia display is the best.  Not only is it deliciously vivid but can also change it to pretty much any color you like using individual RGB settings.  The GUI too is equally lush, being rich and colorful. Even without getting embroiled in the video processor’s extensive user controls, the BD32 fires out a vivid and lifelike picture with very clean shading and great detail. BD32 provides the sort of entertainment levels that most commercial cinemas would be proud of.

Close your eyes and this player presents music with the sort of articulation and purity afforded by only the very best esoteric CD playback equipment.  It is an utterly addictive experience, causing you to begin an endless romp through your CD collection to see just how this guitar solo sounds or how well that bassline rumbles.  The sound is refined and polished but lacks nothing in punch and pace when fed rock, pop, and dance music.  If you have a few SACDs, then go for the stereo option and revel in truly class-leading playback.  It’s stunning .

You can use this performance with network audio.  If you have ripped a library in a lossless format or have high-res recordings up to 24bit/192kHz recordings, the Primare BD32 will play them.  There is an openness and tangible reality to recordings that will leave you breathless and your ears loving you forever.  There is no arguing with the fact that this is one of the best-sounding streaming devices on the market today.  This is a player capable of thunderous bass weight allied to as much agility and low-end speed, a treble fully able to make the most of the extended frequency range available on higher-resolution discs without ever becoming hard or strained, and the most appealing midrange, combining expression and openness with a beautifully natural flow.

Primare’s BD32 can be considered an audiophile bargain in the world of high-end components.  Hi-fi perfectionists will certainly appreciate its native handling of SACDs and its plush tonality – it sounds detailed, airy, and sophisticated with all recorded media.  A worthy universal source for any high-end system.
