Price reflects the fact that I trying to move this item to a new home. This item is a Home Theater receiver. This is a very well-built item, and is offered here at a fraction of the original cost. All offers will be considered. I want to find a good home for this item.

The item currently does not function, and is being sold AS-IS. It will power up, but will not produce sound. At this time, I understand this to be due to a manufacturing issue that is common to these receivers, which regards the solder that was used by Pioneer on the DSP chip. If you research this issue online, you can find a great deal of information about it. I am not certain this is the issue, but I understand it to be based on my research. I understand that these items had an issue where all the signals routed through the DSP chip, and the solder was such that the chip could lose contact, and the whole unit would cease to produce sound. I cannot confirm this is the actual issue. You may be able to fix the issue with this item yourself, or simply need parts from this unit. I simply do not want to discard the unit, and would like someone who can use it to get it.

Remote included. I believe I have the original instructions as well, but will have to check at the time of sale. If you want only the remote, then simply make an offer on and purchase the item and the remote will be included.
