Dynaudio Focus 20 XD

For sale are a pair of Dynaudio Focus 20 XD active monitors in high gloss walnut. Purchased as demo, as new, with full warranty. Warranty is transferable and registered, which extends the warranty to 2030 (see photo of certification letters - one for each speaker). I purchased them in Jan 2022.  Dynaudio recently discontinued the large monitor in this line.  Now only small monitor or floor standers.  I have always favored large monitors over floor standers.  These match the bass output of many a floor stander!

Condition: Excellent. Minor signs of use that are barely detectable. Note that dealers ship demo speakers to Dynaudio before selling so they were inspected by the factory for performance before I received them directly from Denmark.

Coming from Denmark, they sent European power cords. I can supply basic US cords on request. I can leave out the four European cords if desired (two different pairs).

Price: MSRP was $6000.  Sale for $3300 $2995 plus shipping.  A firm and very fair price given the condition and 7 year warranty remaining.  For shipping: Two boxes each 24" x 18" x 12" and 36 lbs.

Included: Speakers, grills, remote, paperwork incl. extended transferable warranty, factory shipping (double boxing), power cords (EU with basic US cords on request).

My story: I obtained a pair of Dynaudio XEO 2 powered speakers for my office. I was so impressed by the sound of these very small monitors that I purchased their big brother Focus 20 XDs to hold me over while waiting for my single driver Omega SAM-HOs for the main system. Color me very impressed!  My Omegas with low power Class A amp are now back in service.

Each speaker has dual 150watt amps, one for each driver. They are DSP tuned with digital signal converted to analog at the speaker eliminating speaker cables completely. There is a bass level control, mostly to reduce bass when placing speaker close to a wall or in a corner. The bass is unbelievable for speakers of this size. Down to a true 39db. Very detailed yet smooth. Digital in from source or preamp, analog in from external DAC, if preferred. I will leave further description to reviews:
