Wyred 4 Sound STI500 V2 Integrated Amp

I purchased this amp about 2 years ago to use in a 2 channel system in our new house (living room).  I planned to use a soundbar for the TV.

However, after an exhaustive search, I was unable to find a soundbar that sounded good enough and was reliable enough for my wife and I.

So, I went the more expensive route with a surround sound receiver and the multiple speakers needed for that choice.  While it is a better sound and more reliable, it was a lot more expensive.

Condition/Performance

This is why I am selling the Wyred 4 Sound amp.  It was purchased with upgraded Kimber Kable internal wiring and WBT Speaker Posts ($187 extra).   I am offering it at less than Audiogon bluebook.  Or, you can make me an offer!

I tried the amp out with Revel F226be and PSB Synchrony 1 speakers (I will be listing the PSBs in the near future), then put it away until we completed our soundbar search.  It was never used on a regular basis.

It is in like new condition, with no scratches, dents, or scuffs.  I hooked it up again recently and it works and sounds fine.  It includes the power cord, the 12 volt trigger cord, and the remote.  I have not been able to find the hard copy of the manual.  I will send an electronic copy, if I can’t find it before shipping.   

It sounds smooth and detailed with a quiet background.  It is lightweight and doesn’t get hot.  It is a great integrated amp for the price.

I can tell you that it definitely sounds better than my Yamaha surround sound receiver for music - but doesn’t sound as good as my Yamaha AS3000 integrated amp I use for my sound room.  However, the Wyred amp didn’t cost over $5,000 like the Yamaha did either.

The amp can be shipped as soon as the next business day (this could be delayed if purchased near one of the Holidays).

I have the original box and packing materials.  It will be insured for the purchase price and shipped using Fedex.
