I purchased these new "New Rivals Type II" in Quartered Bubinga Veneer with black grills from Volti in May 2022. I love them, using a McIntosh C2700 tube preamp and McIntosh M312 SS power amp. They are in perfect condition with original packing/shipping crates.
My problem is my interior-designer girlfriend absolutely hates their appearance and size. Now, in order to keep peace in the realm, I am going to have to sell them to stop the constant GAF (girlfriend acceptance factor) criticism. She would much prefer Sonus faber-like, tall thin styling (like Sonus faber Olympia Novas). It's difficult to enjoy them with the endless critiquing. I should have consulted her first! I suppose I could ditch the GF instead...
$11,250 is 25% off what I paid -- $14,995 (plus I paid $895 packing and shipping from Tennessee). They are big and expensive to ship, so I can't include shipping in the price -- probably somewhere in the range of $600-900. I live in Naples FL and am willing to deliver them, or meet you, within a reasonable radius in order to avoid shipping costs and repacking in the shipping crates (which would also be delivered).

| Hello. I’m looking for a more tube friendly speaker like yours. You mentioned you like a tall slender speaker. Have a pair of Dynaudio C4 Platinums if your interested. The C4 is an excellent speaker -- I almost bought them several years ago. I'm afraid they fail the WAF test, though. Thanks, Ken |
