RCA 12AX7A Grey Plate 1960's Matched Pair

I found these once again in my temperature/humidity controlled storage room (again, you'd think I would have all my tubes in boxes together, but noooooooooo...).  I have two matched pair up on my listings. Each is tightly matched (see my other RCA 12AX7 listing for the other pair).

I purchased them from Tube Museum in NYC in 2016 for my amps and never used them other than a couple of hours to determine how they sound in my system.  Perfect RCA's that sound glorious. And I do mean "glorious".  I wanted to hold them for my stash instead of using them at the time so opted for my Mazda chrome (some say silver) plate 1963 12AX7's and Raytheon black plates.

At this time, my opinion is I can't ever use all of my verious 12AX7 versions I own so have decided to sell those that I beleive will have a great home to enjoy them!

Both tubes are within 3-4% matching on Gain and Gm.  Very quiet and tightly matched.

Other sellers that have any stock at all are listing them for $179/each typically and as much as $250/each!  $358-$500/matched pair if they can.

Now is the time if you want to obtain a beautifully stored, perfect pair of RCA Grey Plate 12AX7A's.
