The needle lasts at least 4000 hours and with a low tracking force much more. Advise is to start with 1,3 gram force and 0,3 gram anti-skating. Sound wise, this MC cartridge with an output of 0.85 mV is a dream for every record player enthusiast. Beautiful three-dimensional sound image with the famous detailing that makes Van Den Hul elements so special. And what also is so great speciality is the extreme low surface noise. Much more silent then many other brands. A van den Hul element provides a realistic view of the concert hall or a view through the studio window. You will re-discover your records.
