Anthem D2v3D

The Anthem D2 is arguably the best sounding, most flexible A/V preamp/processor ever built. Selling for $9500 new, this unit has been fully updated to D2v3D hardware and software and has remained in my multi-zone/home theater system since original purchase, not a scratch on it. The D2v3D comes complete with the award-winning Anthem Room Correction (ARC) system. This fully featured 7.1-channel A/V processor boasts eight HDMI inputs and 2 parallel HDMI outputs, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, PCM 24/192 with premium quality A/D and D/A converters. The D2 also features a 24/192 upconverter for all digital audio signals, resulting in spectacular sonics from your older digital sources. And for the audiophile, analog direct and fully balanced architecture make the D2 a great preamp for your high-end analog playback system.

The D2v3D has three independent zones that make it a great controller for a modest whole home multi-room audio system. Sophisticated Anthem ARC room correction with calibrated microphone plus HD audio format decoding make the D2v a true high-end audio performer. Although outdated video (I bypassed it years ago once I had a 4K monitor) and no Atmos playback (no issue if you don't have Atmos/height speakers in your system), this piece is still an amazing preamp, and processor, and Upsampling DAC, and multi-zone controller, all rolled into one very affordable package.

For clarity, the unit comes complete with all original packaging, ARC kit, remote, power cord, software, long Serial cable and a Serial-to-USB converter. I can email the buyer a current PDF manual, an updated mic calibration file as well as the link for current ARC software. I can also answer any operational questions the buyer may have upon setup.
