Voyd Turntables Reference

Information on these products is very hard to come by, but after much research and speaking with the owner of Audio Note UK, I believe that what we have in hand is a Voyd Reference turntable that is equipped with a Helius tonearm and Audio Note 10 Gold Cartridge. The Voyd Reference comes with a huge outboard power supply by Audio Note for the three very large motors. Also included is an Audio Note ANS9 step up transformer with silver coil windings. Selling prices on these products are also very hard to research, but to the best of our knowledge this package would have retailed somewhere between $40,000.00 and $50,000.00. All this equipment is pretty rare and very highly regarded. Everything is in very good condition. There are no original boxes, but we will pack for safe and secure delivery and fully insure. We are told that usage on the cartridge is moderate, but that is hard to ascertain for certain. The owner unfortunately passed away and we are reselling these items for his family. We have cleaned everything up and can send more extensive pictures to seriously interested parties.

High end turntables produced by Guy Adams in the UK. The original Voyd turntable consisited of a hardwood plinth supporting a sprung subchassis, lightweight acrylic platter and 3-motor drive system.

Later variants included the Voyd 0.5 with reference bearing and platter, and the Voyd Reference with massive offboard power supply, larger motors and Lexan platter. Also available was the cut down two-motor Voyd Valdi in a smaller chassis. The company was bought out in the 1990s by Audio Note who went on to manufacture a variation called the Audio Note Reference.
