We recently did in-house testing of several 300B amplifiers before returning them to the manufacturers. For testing, we set aside one tube set so that we use the same set for each test and that way we can compare apples to apples. For this series of tests, we purchased a matched pair of Western Electric new-issue 300B tubes direct from Western Electric. We have completed what we needed to test so are now putting this pair of 300Bs up for sale. There are 450 hours on this pair, and per the manufacturer, this tube is rated at 40,000 hours (!).

Although the 5-year warranty is unfortunately not transferable to the buyer, 450 hours is approximately 1% of their rated life and in our experience are more than enough hours to reveal anything that might go wrong. They have performed flawlessly and sound beautiful.
Terms of sale are that the successful buyer will pay by link with credit card or bank transfer only. We do not accept Paypal. Once payment has cleared, we ship within two business days. The package is ready to go, double-boxed and securely packed with foam between the boxes to protect against shock, even if dropped. Ships from Los Angeles, CA via FedEx Home delivery. Shipping is $50.00 flat rate to anywhere in the country, and includes insurance for the full purchase price.

Refunds

Special Conditions
In the event of damage during transit, Seller shall not be held liable and Buyer's remedy shall be to look to carrier and file a damage claim. In the case where Seller files a damage claim, Buyer must hold item and all packing materials for inspection by carrier, and cooperate fully with Seller in its efforts to file a claim for damage, and follow and cooperate with all carrier's claim rules and procedures.
