Our home theater evolved from an early NAD system to its’ current state over decades. The relatively small living room open on three sides gives it surprisingly good acoustics and the short viewing distance makes the 77” screen sustain a large apparent image size.
In 2026 our trusty and still great sounding flagship Meridian Surround processor bit the dust... followed the next day by one of the B&W subwoofers developing a buzz and a hum in the Rotel amp. So, I replaced them all within a couple weeks. Nice upgrade. I feel that getting thirty years out of high end equipment is appropriate.
Nice living room layout. It shows you don't need the latest and greatest to have good sound, especially for movies/TV. I really like your choice of older hi-end gear you've assembled.
