@patrickalston - I've listened to many, many speakers and I've seldom heard any that provide me with such enjoyment, especially for the money. I too will likely have to retire them when my wife and I move sometime next year to our next home. (Too many stairs here) Not too many homes anymore with 8' ceilings unfortunately!
Digging those 1+1s. I've owned a pair since the 90s. I remember the first time that I heard them--I got goosebumps. Today, they sit in a corner behind my Martin Logan CLS Is. Haven't listened to the 1+1s for almost 20 years. If I knew someone who wanted them, they could have them.
@tomic601 Thank you so much for the compliments! I've had the 1+1s since new and added the sub later. I've always been hard pressed to find speakers that throw their soundstage for anything less than the price of a new car.
