@frozentundra Thank you, Jeff.  re: Bel Canto pre vs Pass pre, pretty much a financial decision.  I had bought the BC pre many years ago, and it’s just stuck around in favor of upgrading other components.  I’ve been looking at replacements for a few months, so it’s likely next for an upgrade/replacement.

Interesting choices of components
Why the bel canto vs 100% Pass labs for preamp ?

Avid & SME is a beautiful setup

Your wood working skills look very nice

@bluorion Thank you!  The rack was actually a DIY.  I needed something substantial to support fair bit of weight and needed specific shelf heights/widths.  You could check Butcher Block Acoustics and/or Timbernation for similar.  Or, if interested, here are some basics for my DIY rack:

-1.75 inch maple countertops cut to size (3j
-3x3 inch maple posts (4)
-3/8 inch knockdown fasteners with barrel nuts (12) plus plastic caps (12)

I built the rack a couple years ago, and I have to say: it’s incredibly satisfying to still have a tight 1/16” gap between the top shelf and the center channel.  The rack hasn’t flexed at all.

Feel free to reach out if I can help.  Best of luck in your search (or DIY), and happy listening!

Awesome system! What brand is the rack--i'm looking for something about that size.

Very nice system and deceptively simple looking!
