Love the vibe, appreciate that window, and agree with how nicely that rack fits in the corner - as if it was specifically built for your listening space. The M3, LTA preamp, and Dynaudio Heritage Specials are components and speakers that I’ve considered, but have never been fortunate to experience. Nice seeing someone on the same wavelength.

Thank you @jazzman7 . I recently relocated it to that corner and I think it looks much better. Happy listening!

Really like your room and system. Especially like the way that beautiful rack fits so nicely into the corner.

Thanks for the comment @sfgak
Posting new photos of my system after adding the Audionet Amp, moving the rack to a new location and adding some room treatment.

The Hegel was very good, but adding the LTA preamp made me realize I wasn't using 2/3 of the Hegel functionality (volume control and DAC) so I decided to go with the Audionet to "simplify". I would say that the Audionet has somewhat bigger soundstage than the Hegel and is more transparent to what is upstream. After adding it, I fell like I can hear more of the tube character of the preamp. I also added LPSs to my router and server and all of the changes are sounding excellent together.

Beautiful system! Love the rack... How would you describe the changes from the H390 to the Audionet? If you don't mind sharing, what was the impetus for the change?

Thanks @spoonman16510. The rack is an Atacama Evoque Design Edition. I got it through CanadianHiFi/USAHiFi. You can make almost any configuration of # of shelves, heights and widths you need.

I recently replaced my Hegel H390 with an Audionet Amp and needed slightly more space so I just ordered new legs for not much money. I am very happy they support that and I didn't have to buy an entirely new rack.

I love that rack! What kind is it? Where did you get it?  Thank you.

Thank you for the comments. We really like the window and it is definitely the focal point of the room. The downside is that it makes it challenging to do any acoustic treatment to the front wall. Not sure how essential that is for improving sound, but I see many systems here have at least something to diffuse sound between the speakers.

I love the stand, solid as a rock and lateral length is real nice.

Really nice system.

That is a really nice looking window.  Must be fearful of projectiles and maybe there's protective measures in place.

Merry Xmas to you jond and thanks for the comment. Your Audionote and DejaVu system looks great too and was clearly put together with care.

Merry Xmas sf and cool system. I hope you had a great holiday and not too much Xmas music. ;)

Hi Sandrock. Thanks for the comment. I recently moved into this house so I am still experimenting with positioning; however, the room is fairly long and I previously had them closer together. Your comment reminds me of the need to reposition and retest this as the system changes. It is easy for me to get stuck making assumptions that I have optimized something basic like speaker positioning.

sfpeloton

Opps, I ment to say that the speakers should be a little closer together. Sorry about 5hat slip in typing. It might be 5he “eggnog”…….

sandrock

Actually, I have to say your tree look very nice and seasonal to boot!
If I might suggest something from viewing the picture, I believe that the speakers might give you an improved center channel image and nicer sound stage. But again, this is from one picture and not being 5here to actually listen to your system.
So don’t let the heathens bother you…………
