It all started with a mid-’80s Fisher Studio Standard rack system in a glass-door cabinet, a turntable on top, and a graphic EQ — bought on layaway with money from my paper route. I’ve spent years listening, learning, and refining my sense of what matters most in a system. What I’ve ended up pursuing is a sound with body, color, dimensionality, and flow — something immersive and emotionally convincing, with real weight behind instruments and voices. I’ve worked toward a presentation that is spacious and textured (not clinical) and that carries enough life and momentum to make you want to move with the music and get pulled deeper into it.
