Sorry for the slow response- The A200x5 is really an old battleaxe as it just does one thing-Run. It has never given even a moment of trouble and for the center/rear vandies it does just fine. When I listen to music I pretty much stay in 2 channel stereo which is why I am looking for the right amp for the puppies.

How does your vintage Acurus sound compared to newer amps?

Was hoping for some comment re the analog portion of my system. As I stated before CD/DVD Audio is pretty impressive. Still not quite happy with the big Mac for my two channel listening and the Manley Snappers don't have quite the control and snap the Watt Puppies require. To fix that is probally going to cost me for either a high powered tube amp or a killer SS amp.
