Description

I have gradually updated from Rotel pre to the tube Rogue pre and from B&K ST-140 amps to the tube monoblocs. I'm sure not done yet... The sound is quite laid back (too much for some people). The base is not as tight as some of the solid state stuff, but is a solid foundation. The mids and highs seem just right to my ears. I welcome any upgrade ideas. I am thinking maybe the Vandy 3A sigs. I like the vandy sound, but would'nt mind something similar that is good with tubes and a bit more forward and detailed.

I would look at upgrading the source compnents (cdp, tt) before replacing the Vandys. I don't think you have heard the best your system can deliver. Great DIY stands!
