3.1 channel connected through a marantz sr5003 receiver. The KRK rokit 5s and 10s are all powered speakers. The rear surround is a polk CSi-5 which is the only speaker powered by 90 watt receiver.

I run a computer over hdmi and my ps3 to the tv. I get hd television over the air on my laptop.

These are made for near to mid field monitoring. The sub really helps and creates loud tight and fast sounds. The monitors are responsive and wide.. they have a fairly warm sound as well..

The receiver has many surround modes which make nice effects while listening to music, sports, video games. The movie experience is decent.
