Description

...since I'm living a modern nomad's life, I need a rather small and mobile system. The one shown here sounds amazing and leaves not much time for missing my main system that is actually in a stock in my hometown...Anyway, I recently added a JR Capri preamp and Krell Kid, what forced the Shanling into office for overtime:-) ...since I have all relevant music on a 160GB I-pod classic, and the Krell substitutes a CD player to my satisfaction. Furthermore I will integrate my Micro Seiki DDX1000 and put the KD-750 back on stock (no way that I ever sell it).

    • Shanling MC-30
small CDplayer with i-pod dock, tuner and 2x3W tube amp. Besides the cool looks, does a wonderfiul job used via pre-out as CD-player.
    • Kenwood KD-750
    Direct drive with 10inch arm
    • Tannoy Precision 8D
Active 2-1/2 way studio monitor...not much to say about...just great!
    • Benz Micro PP-1
Wonderful phono preamp, not just for Benz low output MC cartridges...
    • Velodyne SPL-1000
Compact powerful subwoofer...performes best at higher volume...but frankly, I miss my Backes Mueller U-Sub2 :-(
    • Audio Technica AT-OC9
...fits perfectly to the KD-750's tonearm...
