Description

This is a system I have been working on for approximately 7 years, when I traded a buck knife and $100 for the RS 2.5's. The woofers were wired wrong and pretty much trashed and it has been a journey since then. All the pieces were purchased used except for the cables and the bellari phono stage. My next upgrades would include a new phono cartridge and tonearm cable, and possibly a different preamp sometime in the future. I have noticed every change I have made to this system over the years through the Infinity speakers. Imho, they are still very capable of playing fine music if driven properly with lots of current and fed a good source.

That's a nice-looking equipment rack.  What company made it?

System edited: I replaced the blue point special with a grado sonata-1 and a reflex clamp for the sota at the same time. Waiting for the cartridge to break in still, but I noticed a big improvement with the clamp. Money well spent :) I'm in the process of hanging some blankets on the walls and moving speakers around trying to deaden the room a little. Also, removed the audio stand for the time being to see if it is a detriment because of the dipole nature of the infinities.
