Thanks Artg,

I'm located in Toronto,Canada and work at two hospitals: St.MIke's(downtown trauma center) and a community hospital(Scarborough Hospital)

With anyluck I'll be demoing a BC Despina and Galatea in the near future. If I can swing it also a pair of speakers with the Salk HT1's being the front runners.

First I'll be dealing with some room treatments and I'm looking into Eigth Nerve products(Adept line).

Cheers

freaky - nice perspetctive about not getting carried away with the gear.... checking out a tubed preamp is in-keeping with thoae goals IMHO.

I see you and i have things in-common, besides our love of music- I'm a radiologist in Minneapolis. Where do you do that voodoo that you do?

Tvad,

Thanks for looking. I do plan on getting a tubed pre-amp and talking to dealer Blue Circle is a front runner.

I'll look into the book thanks again.

Cheers

On paper,it looks like you've assembled a terrific system. Relax and enjoy it (easier said than done :)...

You might consider some room tweaks. Cheap ones...wall hangings at the point of first order reflection, and on the rear wall. These alone will reduce echo.

Read Robert Harley's book "Complete Guide to High End Audio" for details.
