My first foray back into hifi in more than 25 years. It took me about a year to piece this system together in my basement "man cave". Room dimensions are 14' x 29' x 8'. After years of raising the family and doing the HT deal, I'm back into 2 channel nirvana. Primarily an analog system, with vinyl as the main source. GIK Acoustics Monster bass traps and ATS Acostics bass traps to tame the room nulls and peaks, with other DIY room treatments to control reflections and resonances. The system really throws a great soundstage with pinpoint imaging, depth and excellent extension.
This is a work in progress, but I'm quite happy with the results at this time.

System edited: Also added some extensive acoutical treatments, primarily intended to tame some aggressive room nulls and peaks in the low bass spectrum. Tremendous improvement in the low end. Adding absorption at the first reflection points calmed the harshness in the upper mid / lower treble output.
System edited: Follow up after some recent updates and additions. The custom crossovers for the Tylers bring their performance to a whole new level. Increased resolution, articulation and detail while maintaining the original tonal character. Probably the best money I've spent on audio ever. Also added the Ortofon Cadenza Bronze. Very musical cartiridge that mates very well with my system.
System edited: Just upgraded from a Rogue Perseus to a Rogue Athena. All I can say is wow. Even though the Athena is nearly 3 times the cost (retail), I was not expecting such a dramatic effect. What an unbelievably "organic" sound, totally mesmerizing. The soundstage is now huge; wide, tall and deep. The Athena really brought my system to a much higher level.
