Description

It started with the Japanese 300B tube amp I built from a kit and I've never stopped evolving the system since. I built the Lynn Olsen Me2 speakers and planned on building the Ariel TL cabinets at a later date. Instead, I built a pair of single driver speakers in a ported bass reflex box. My most involved project was my laminated plinth turntable, which I think turned out really nice. My next project will be a diy record cleaning machine.

I'm now using a Nelson Pass designed F5 amp that a friend built and I am very pleased with this sound. I plan tweaking this a bit and keeping it in my system since I worked out a trade with my friend.

Hi.
I just noticed your nice system.

What ever happened to the Ariel/ME2 speakers?

What did you think of them(how did they compare to other speakers)?

System edited: I built a new Cherry chassis for the VP 300BD amp and upgraded it with a DACT stepped attenuator and selector switch. I built a new pair of Open Baffle speakers using a modified JE Labs baffle design and P-Audio BM12 CX38 Co-Axial drivers.
