Description

This is my first decent HT setup. It's modest compared to most, but it's a big upgrade from the $200 32" TV I replaced :). I've rediscovered movie watching since setting up this system and watching sports is great. I will try to post photos soon.

Tlg, to be honest it's hard to say if the Furman provides significant improvement since I really didn't have serious issues before I got it. I bought the unit primarily for surge protection and cable organization. I've had the Furman shut my system down before, so I know its working. I am confident the Furman does not harm to sound/video, so much so that I actually just ordered another one for my two channel system.

Hi, I was wondering how you like your Furman? I am going to be getting the identical same one as yours in 2 weeks. I have read the soundstage is supposed to improve as well as video. Can you confirm the same when you put all your gear through it. It seems amazing that the furman can handle such a load and then all this goes into the wall via a 15 amp cord. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom

Thanks, Glen. The mixed fronts and center was not by design, but they work fine together. I've owned the Paradigms for several years and the same model center was not available when I put the rest of this system together. I'm keeping my eyes open for used V2 center and may pick one up at some point. Otherwise, this system is done for the forseeable future. I kinda wish I had gotten a slightly larger display. The cabinet would hold a 50" and if I ever upgrade I'll go larger.

To see or not to see. High WAF and kid proof with the audio gear stored behind closed doors if wanted. Having different front and center channel works for me as well. Two thumbs up for the subwoofer as well. That is a real keeper. Enjoy for sure. Glen
