this is an evolution of over two years with a collection of new and 'gon acquired components. for the scratch that i spent on the system, it is an enjoyable system. (for reference, i use my creek a50ir/music hall cd25/sonus faber concertino setup as my baseline) i was using an integra 7.3, which was my first home theater component that i ever bought, but having switched to the outlaw 990, it sounds like my rig was behind a curtain. the 990 is an excellent value. (albeit it is certainly not the end all unit but for $1099, it is a damn good deal.) the epos seem to pair up nicely with the rotel and outlaw and using by-pass for stereo listening, it comes close to the air and transparency of the creek and with sufficient but controlled bass. i was using a variety of different cables from all the major players but ultimately settled on the purist audio cables throughout my system. i definitely feel that they contribute positively by not adding anything to the audio chain. i am not sold on the museaus AC cables entirely but maybe they make a difference. honestly, i can't tell.
