Description

I recently added the Cambridge Audio pieces, which sound much more detailed than my previous Denon unit. The Adcom pre was added as a replacement for a Bryston .5B, and I use it solely in passive mode. The Counterpoint gives me good performance, and I can never decide between tubes and SS, so with the SA-20 I didn't have to. I am strongly considering upgrading here, though. The Vandys are great speakers. They replaced Spica TC-50 and Spica Servo Sub. I am strongly considering adding one or two Vandersteen 2wq here. Also under consideration is bi-amping the Vandys, for which I can either buy another SA-20 or replace my amplification entirely. Comments are most welcome, especially regarding what you think is the weakest link (goodbye) and where the most bang for the buck improvement can be had.
