For the last two, I played around with different components to get my system to my taste, especially with the mid-and low-end sections. I changed the speaker to Snell B minor, preamp SPL, and speaker cable Zen audio, but I'm still not where I want it to be.
System edited: With these changes, it has added more body to the music and the low end has a very big foot print. the 3d is much better with more air around each instrument. The system is very transparency with not fatigue.
Hi, had the same problem with lows. Make sure u use the monolithic power supply with the dac. Also empirical audio does an upgrade on sony dvp s7700 dvd player that makes a great improvement on the low end. Had that upgrade and it allowed to me to actually track the bass lines through my sub when played alone with out my main speakers. It went from a thump to a more coherent bass line.
