Wow wow wow! Great system that would be a joy for decades. Funny how a bug can bite and bring such happiness.

sorry about the delayed response....i'm kind of new to audiogon.
unfortunately i'm quickly finding out that being finally done really never does happen.
The room treatments are ATS panels 2ft x 4ft and 2" thick.
The carver was the component that started the whole mess.
It was brought forward from my young days.
I pulled it out of the closet on a visit to my parents house in upstate New York on a visit and brought it home.
yesterday the bug bit me and I ordered a Macintosh MCD1100 to replace my MCD301.
I'm going to use it as my main source and as a Dac for the Olive 04HD.
my room looks bigger in the picture than it really is thanks to new camera technology.
It is 10 ft wide and 23ft long with 8ft ceilings.
Not sure about reflections from the flat screen but wish I could make it just go away.
unfortunately my wife already wants to kill me for everything else i've done.

Of course, you are not done. Your total system cost does not exceed $1 million. So, now way you are done.
Just kidding. Very nice setup indeed. What room treatments are you using? If the flat screen causing any issue with the reflections? The Carver tape deck is something. BTW, how big is the room?

Wow, very nice looking. I really like the matching wood throughout your system, and the D1s are an incredible speaker. I had some D1s for a couple of years and heard a lot of systems in that time, but never heard anything else that made me want to change.
