Description

Hi,

I have changed everything I used to have except my loving Ref 3A Royal Virtuoso. Nowadays I have Karan i180 mkII amp with Lab12 Dac1 Reference(perfect mach) and Luxman PD-291 with GermanDIY E.A.R 834(Tosihiba/GE nos ECC83) and Glanz LX-610. I am very happy with this very musical set I have today. Used to have lot of nice gear, but I need to reduce items, so this is it what my set has become.

Cables are Crystal Cable micro wibire/Siltech i680 XLR.

Hi,

Officially it is Exclusive M4a made by Pioneer´s special department and distribution was limited to Japan. This M4a(1981) model is an updated version M4(1974). Pure 50w class A, so it is good room heater, inside only high quality capasitor, resistor, special edition component ,140micro thickness copper foil glass epoxy group board and they even made hi-mass powercord for this amp. Built like tank and still everything works like glory days of this amp.  I really like how it sounds, smooth, powerful and it fits well with Luxman´s tube preamp.

There is lot of information

That's a very cool looking system that Luxman preamp looks fantastic! So can you shed a few details on that Pioneer amp? Not familiar with it but love those big meters!

Hi,

I have recapped(Luxman cl-40) nearly every old ones-->Rubycon nos, Audio Notes Kasei ect. and also new nos tubes by Siemens ecc83, Siemens ecc85 , Brimary 12BH7, Rca 12BH7A black plate, Telefunken ecc82 and I can say It is very musical 3-d sound, so I you are lookin for Luxman´s tube amp just go for it. Excellent sound quality, don´t know that one by Tim de Paravicini, but his amps have very high reputation.
