Florian,

Excellent system.  I own the NAT Transmitter monoblocks also.  Can you detial the dimensions of the glass cylinders that surround the QB5 Output tube?  I need outside diameter, inside diameter, height and wall thickness dimensions for the glass cylinder in mm.

Thanks,
Mike

Florian,
Wow, your room looks amazing. It's nice to see those amazing Apogees get such nice complementary gear. I bet it sounds wonderful. Hang on to that Studer! Cheers,

Hola Florian,
What a beautiful setup, bright with own light!
GRAND are a dream, I' ve got a pair of Duetta Signs rebuilt and am starting on biamp experience with one Bryston XO.
I' m really lover from tubes but only use Line pre and phono pre with them because all in my test aren't enough to excite it. I'd like you share something from your way.
Thanks.

Hello Richard,

thank you very much. I used to own 1 ohm Scintillas as well, its actually my first Apogee Love :-) True about the tubes, i tried a lot of different amplifiers with the Grands. Solid State (Krell KSA100, KSA150, KSA250, KRS200, Sphinx 18, Sphinx 12 etc...), Class D (HCA2), Hybrids (Sphinx PJ14) and many different NAT Tube Amplifiers (SE1, SE2MKI, SE2MKII, SE3) and finally came close to giving up before spending a lot of money for the NAT Transmitters. I used to have a CAT JL1 on the Grands as well.

The blue light is the Vacuum Fluorescent Display units. Each speaker is active (8 channels of amplification) and with the remote control you can turn the speakers on, adjust the levels, rake, save presets etc...

Kind regards

Florian

Beautiful and intriguing system, florianw, I'd love to hear it. Coincidentally, I have Apogees (1-ohm Scintillas) driven by tubes (CAT Statement monoblocks) and an Acoustic Signature turntable (Final Tool II). It's a small club of people driving Apogees with tubes, to be sure!

What are the blue lights at the bottom of your speakers? Looks very cool, but I know there's more to it than that.

Richard
