budrew, I’ve had the 23R for about 3 weeks and I think it’s a great amp for hard to drive or very efficient headphones.  It’s fast, transparent and dead quiet with high efficiency headphones.  It easily powers my Susvara and 1266TC so it should do well with the Stealth.  The surprising thing about this amp is how great it drives high efficiency speakers.  It drives my Klipsch Cornwall IVs incredibly well.  I don’t know of a better SS amp for headphones.  I cancelled my order for a Niimbus amp and bought the Enleum and I couldn’t be happier with that decision.  I’m Stevem324 on headfi and posted several times in the Enleum 23R thread on that site.

How do you like the Enleum amp? I assume you use it only for headphones? I'm looking at it to drive a pair of DCA Stealth headphones that need a lot of current.

Michael, sorry for such a late response to your question.  The Luxman EQ-500 is really nice with the P10/Apheta 3.  I like vacuum tube phono stages and I have 2 of them, Zesto Andros and the EQ-500.  The EQ-500 is very quiet and it responds well to tube rolling.  I like to roll tubes in my phono stage to get the sound that I want.  SS phono stages don't give you that flexibility so you're stuck with sound with no way to match it to your preferences.

Nice system, and thank you for sharing. I too own a Rega P10. My phonostage is a Rogue Ares. I'm thinking about a purchase of a phonostage more suited to the level of the Rega. Two I have in mind are the Pass Labs PH17 and the Luxman EQ-500 which of course you're using with the Rega.

Can you share any thoughts about these choices given your level of experience?

Been spinning albums for 54 years but only have owned - and still do - 2 turntables. Well, now 3. A Technics SL1700 and a VPI Scoutmaster. And only the Ares as a phonostage.

Thanks - Michael
