Thanks Thsalmon. I also think the Planet will not disappoint. Have never listened to the Tukans but there is a Linn dealer not far from my house.

I forgot to include the Rega Mira and Brio in my consideration list, and from what I've read the Mira is the better long-term choice over the Brio.

Thanks for the tip about the DV-54Ai too !

Of the components you're considering, I'd go for the Rega Planet 2000 and Linn Tukans. I've owned a Planet and it's a wonderful player. I don't have any experience with the Roksan Kandy series or Rotel integrateds, but I have liked the Roksan Caspian components. Don't ignore the possibility of the Rega Mira integrated amp and the Rega Jura speakers. There is real synergy in such a system. If you want a player with DVD capability, get a Pioneer DV-45Ai and send it to Dan Wright (www.modwright.com) for modifications to improve the audio performance. Happy listening!
