    • McIntosh C-50
This was McIntosh's first stereo Preamp to include both analog & digital inputs in the same unit. It has a stellar PHONOSTAGE, internal DAC, and has 5 digital inputs for use with a variety of sources, including an Asynchronous-USB input for computer based audio. Another selling point for me was the eight band tone controls (which I haven't touched since the 1 week of install, go figure) and the Home Theater Bypass function which will come in handy, eventually! This is solid piece from McIntosh Labs.
    • McIntosh MC-452
2-Channels @ 450-watts of pure adrenaline! The unit is Quad-Balanced and has Mac's Autoformer, Power-Guard, and those beautiful big blue meters..... This 110lb. amp is a beast!!
    McIntosh's most powerful stereo amplifier.
    • VPI Industries Classic Signature TT
Classic Signature Turntable is VPI's latest rendition of their Classic III. Comes with the JMW-10-3D printed tonearm (10.5"). TT has VTA, SRA, & Anti-Skate adjustability.
New features on this TT include a 300rpm low-noise, high torque, Asynchronous AC-motor, a non-resonant 2-7/8" thick chassis w/ a 20lb. machined aluminum/steel platter, and an improved tonearm-board for installation of different Tonearms.

    • Philharmonic Audio The Philharmonic 3's
'The Phil-3's' - Philharmonic Audio's flagship speakers and they just might be one of the best bargains (and hidden secrets) in high-end audio! The owner, Dennis Murphy knows how to design & build a great speaker + he's a fantastic guy to deal with.

    Design:  3-way, open-backed dual-module, Full-Range Speakers
Box Alignment:  ML-TL (Mass Loaded-Transmission Line)
Drivers:  Woofer - 8" ScanSpeak Revelator, Mid-Range - BG Neo8 Planar, Tweeter - RAAL 70-10D ribbon. (The BG & RAAL ribbon are phenomenal!!!!)
    Response: 25Hz – 20kHz (+/- 2 dB). Low frequency down to 20Hz!!
Crossover:  640Hz & 2800Hz, Linkwitz-Riley 4th-order, 19-component Dennis Murphy design with Clarity Caps, Solen Fast Caps (woofer section), Mundorf resistors, Air-core inductors (ex. woofer sect.) and all this helps the speakers achieve a FLAT frequency response across the entire audio-spectrum and near-perfect 4th-order acoustic slopes.
    Dims:  43” H x 12” W x 24” D
Cabinets:  Hand built by Salk Audio, with Ribbon-Striped Red Merlot Mahagony Veneers & Satin Black front-face. (Gorgeous speakers!!!)

These speakers are one of my ALL-TIME best buys in audio and will be w/ me for a long time!! Highly recommended....

jkerby, I know exactly how it goes... Took me a few months to finally try and sell the speakers I replaced. And now no one is buying them :-)

He runs Raiho 3.1 speakers with same amp & preamp/table. Sound is wonderful. McIntosh amps are great

Owner
@yyman23 Thank you for the compliment!
No, I'm only running one pair of speakers on the MC-452, the Phil-3's (larger pair).
The smaller 2-way speakers (Totem Acoustic - Forest Signatures) were used before I bought the Phil-3's. I wanted to make sure I liked the new speakers before I got rid of the Totems..... and 6 months later, I still haven't gotten around to selling them. Go figure!
But I like your suggestion of switching between speakers!

jkerby

Gorgeous setup! Are you running both pairs of speakers with one MC452, or do you switch speakers depending on the music you listen too?
