It's a work in progress. For now I'm about as happy with the sound as I have ever been. I feel that it has reached a point where I am listening to a performance instead of a CD. The whole system just vanishes into the room.
I guess the next thing I need to upgrade is either the speaker cables or my power conditioner (Monster HTS-1000 used only on the front end). I really like the sound of the Nordost cables, would moving a step up the line to the Blue Heavens be much of an improvement over the Super Flatlines ? Also what power conditioner would work well with this system?
You're right about the conditioner, at least. I own and love the Audio Magic Stealth Power Purifier. I've checked them all out, and this baby does the job. Before you change anything, try it. You'll be able to listen for at least 6 months before you'll have to can something. You know how this hobby is.
