I have the 802 D3 and McIntosh 611 amplifiers. Wondering what cables you use to connect these things?

I love the wide rack. I found one from salamander 20 years ago that's really deep and it's on coasters but they don't make it anymore.

Beautiful setup! Wanting a pair of 802’s is what started me down this audio journey. Great work!

That looks like a really fun room to chill in for hours on end. How long did it take to collect all that?

Your system looks amazing, I owned B&W speakers for years, still love them but now I have Focal Sopra no.1's, my B&W towers (803D1's) were getting to heavy for me to move around, I'm almost 70. Older but still digging music played on a great two channel systems.

Love the Mac wall rack system, looks impressive.  As is the collection of components.  Very clean treatment of hiding cables.  Nice job.

Thanks asshole, at least I posted a system. It appears to me you may have a little penis envy, you have nothing good to say on any of your other comments.
I guess trying to act like your system is superior to all is your way to go.
Let’s look at your system?? Oh that’s right, you don’t have one posted.

Terrible, terrible positioning of the whole system, not only speakers. What a loss of potential. Very nice components.

Agreed, not the optimal positioning. They are only 10” off the wall so I am losing the optimal sound I’m looking for. It still sounds fantastic, but I just can’t get to perfection.
I am waiting on my wife’s ok to create the perfect room in the other side of the downstairs. It’s a blank slate, so I can make it exactly as needed. She doesn’t even like this room, so I have to go with what I have until I can convince her how nice it would be to have this room for her to do as she wishes. 😎

bastarr1

All high-class components!
Some remarks on positioning. Generally it is advisable to place the speakers on the short side of the room, leaving air behind the speakers and behind the listening point, which in the photos I see both leaning against the walls.
This unfortunately has negative impacts on low frequency performance, clarity and soundstage.

Nice set up.  I like what you did with the in-wall rack.  Saves tons of space.  Have you ever tried Sonus Faber speakers with the McIntosh?  They work wonderfully in my Mc system.

Thank you guys, it does sound pretty good. ;-)

Ain't it nice when a plan comes together? Every thing goes together beautifully and I imagine the sound is fantastic. Bravo Sir.

Nice system and displayed nicely.  I like your LP selection on the TT!

Thanks

That has to be an immersing musical experience w/ big Mac and upper range B&W. Plus movie night has to be involving. Your lovely room just adds to it.

Thank you for your kind words.

Yes all the pictures are acoustic treatments.

I had to put a screen up to for the cameras, the room is in the back of the house and downstairs.  If it wasn’t for the cameras I would never know if I had a visitor or not.

I initially wasn’t going to dual system, but after thinking a while I figured it was probably best.

Is that a security camera/screen at the top of your McRack of equipment?
Those pictures on the wall...acoustic treatments?
Dual system....I'm doing the same thing....still a work in progress....
Bravo...clean clean clean......
