I'm now coming out of the Mac to a dedicated DAC for mixing and just listening.

This is essentially a passive preamp that allows for two sets of stereo ins and outs with a stepped attenuator.

I bought the flatpack, had someone the designer recommended build them, then sent those to a cabinet finisher for the blue lacquer. If I were to do it again, I might just get the pre-built, pre-veneered cabinets.

I swapped my two Aegirs for two Vidars. The Aegirs were good in my tiny original room, but I moved into a bigger space and needed more power. I'm using one Vidar to power both speakers at the moment.

As balanced  (TRS - to - XLR) interconnects between the Audient and the Vidar
