Description

The main room is a vaulted ceiling with the mean roof height around 12' and a 12:12 pitch. Ceiling is cedar plank clad, floors are wood. The entire room is larger than the 16x16 listening space and has a masonry fireplace centered widthwise and lengthwise in the space. Floors are Oak on a crawlspace. Each end of this main room is full glass with treatment on the lower glass in the listening room, no treatment on the upper gable windows.

The preamp and amps were hand built by me from kits with all available upgrades at the time that VTA offered. I had to install variac transformers to the system to keep the voltage fluctuations from eating up tubes and have a few cheater plugs in the system to keep from having ground loop buzzing.

Added a VPI Super Prime Scout and an EAT Tube Phono Stage to the mix. Currently burning in the setup, have played about 15 albums as of April 2026.
