Excellent! I too drive my pair of LFT-8b's with tubes. In my room I am able to have the speakers five feet from the wall behind them (which is treated with Vicoustic Multifuser DC3's), and eight feet from my listening position. Like you I have the tweeters on the inside. The LFT-8b is one of hi-fi's greatest bargains.
