Hi Tiger, is Luis from Venezuela, in this market we can find a lot of nice stuff, but in the end the most important is the way that you personally listen the music. All of us ear the music in diferent way, depends in our body and in our soul. Try tubes, this kind of sound is more human and warm, don´t go to expensive, in this market not always the most expensive is the better, experiment yourself the sensations and the feelings. Try VAC or VTL in amplifiers, with your Wilsons is a nice combination. In Cd Player don´t go to expensive, try the sure things, like Wadia or Accuphase, the tube ones are good too, the APL are stunings, you can try DCS Verdi too, anyway just do it in your way. See you.
The best upgrade you could make in your system in my opinion is an Audio Research Reference 5 pre amp. I don't like the all transistor sound. The Watt Puppy7's are excellent and the suggestion to change them has no merrit unless you have Boat loads of Gelt.
Tiger you need some new cloth shades in that room. Those vinyl verticle blinds have to be causing some serious slap echo! :-) Nice System though! Bet the chicks dig it!
Hi Tiger, I would say the amps and preamp are probably a limiting factor here. They are probably not as transparent as the latest offerings from other manufacturers.
You dont say what kind of sound you are looking for? I have heard the Audio Research sound really nice with wilsons, but valves may not be the way to go as you need a lot of good clean,fast power.
First things first, to know what type of system would be best for you, I would need to know, what type of music do you listen to? To know what type of system performs best,I would need to know, have you ever owned a pair of electro stats?,or magna plan speakers?. Are you happy with the speakers you have? Once we establish the sound that your looking for, then we will work on any other components.

Not so many people here have NBS cables, which I think they are (still) the best. As owner of full Black Label system I would recommend you to go that way. For source I own the Ayre D-1x which is still the cleanest and most neutral player to date and not so expensive. For the rest you have a great system.
Tiger Woods??? Well The system is impressive and I'm sure sounds great! The two things I would look at as far as change would be the speakers, but first I think the weekest link is the CD player. The Best CD system I have heard has been the DCS Verdi,Purcell and Elgar combo. It's expensive, but it is awesome.
