I have a Tri-amp system. I like almost everything about my Revel speakers except for low bass performance. The mid bass, mid range and highs are wonderful. I send the main output from my pre-amp to the MQ112 where I can boost the 25Hz and 60Hz for bass, and add just a touch in the 3K and 10K. The MQ112 has two balanced outs that I route to the MC-402 and the Parasound. Fortunately, the Parasound has gain pots that allow me to dial in the highs. I send balanced output 1 (no EQ) to the sub. I know the speakers may seem spaced too far apart, but keep in mind I used a wide angle lens, and the stereo imaging sounds really good. Another way of putting it, They're Revels, and like the song "Come Out and Play" by the Offspring; "You gotta keep 'em separated".
I have a wide range of music that I keep on a NUC and stream with MyMPD over Snapcast. I also have Qobuz, but I tend to use my local system more because I can stream it to multiple nodes in the house at the same time.
